Bullet Dedicate 15 solid, uninterrupted minutes to an immense task it and then leave it. You’ll feel better about it and it will not seem so immense the next time you look at it.
Bullet Cook meals or prepare ingredients for the next days meal the night before.
Bullet Cook twice the amount you would normally cook and freeze half for a quick meal another day.
Bullet Buy a small food chopper and puree your own baby food from what you are eating. Rinse spicy food off in water and use a little chicken stock or juice to moisten the food.
Bullet Freeze pureed baby food in clean ice cube racks then pop them out and store in airtight bag, labelled. Create whole banks of meals this way.
Bullet Prepare large amounts of chopped onions, jalapeno’s, sweet peppers,and other ingredients you need small amounts of, and freeze them. It saves time the next time you need them.
Bullet Learn to prioritize; say to yourself “is this the MOST important thing that needs doing right now?” If not, then do the thing that IS.
Bullet Your time is worth money – consider hiring someone to to a job it would take you hours to do (lawn mowing, housecleaning). It will free you up to enjoy your kids.
Bullet Clean your windows once in a while, you’ll be surprised at how much brighter everything seems inside.
Bullet Regardless of how tired you are, resist the urge to leave your dishes dirty in the kitchen overnight. There is nothing more depressing than waking up to a dirty kitchen.
